Green card lottery for year 2010 called DV 2010 is now over. This guide is for DV 2011, which is expected to begin on Septemper or October 2009. Where to apply? This is the most important question. Press on the VISA button on the web site, and then find the link that points to DV Lottery instructions. Then fill up the application. Don’t hurry; you have more than 60 days to apply. DO NOT apply more than one time, if you do so your application will be disqualified. Double your chances If you are married you can double your chances by submitting 2 applications one for you as the main applicant and your wife/husband as your spouse, the second is for your wife/husband as the main applicant and you as his/here spouse. When to apply? This is the second important question that most of the people do not know. Most of the application time is between October and December.
